You've heard of the Werewolf, right? Well... our wild fellow artists at AARDMAN ANIMATION decided that the world needs a Were Rabbit. Our Were Rabbit was created for a BURGER KING commercial with a tie in to the WALLACE & GROMMIT movie 'THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT' which was just being released then. We sculpted and molded the body, then cast it in soft foam latex, and electrostatically flocked all of the fur on. The action for the spot was pretty simple- he was lurking around outside a BURGER KING when he sees some some kids inside with some tasty treats. So he stalks them through some bushes and he pounces, unaware that there is glass between him and his prey, and so he comically splats onto the glass, his belly and face flatted out by the impact. For animatronics we gave him had mouth open/close, ear twitch, and side to side eyes to look back and forth as he slowly began to slide his way down the windowpane.
